MTT率いるサンフランシスコシンフォニーは、100周年を迎える来シーズンに向けてまもなくプログラム発表されますね。（と言いながら今シーズンまだMTT詣でに行けていない・・・）
そして、今日の注目はこれ。グスタボ・ドゥダメル指揮のLAフィルライブ。 グスタボ・ドゥダメル（１９８１年生まれ、ヴェネズエラ出身、０９ー１０シーズンよりサロネンの後にロスアンジェルス交響楽団の音楽総監督に就任。Under30の中でも話題性の高い指揮者）
LAフィルのライブ演奏が全米、カナダの映画館で中継されるというものです。これまでメトロポリタン・オペラがライブ中継を行っていましたが、交響楽団はめずらしい。日本の10倍の国土をもつアメリカ。そうそうロスに足を運ぶことは難しい。そして映画館の良い音響機材で聞きたい、ついでにドゥダメルも見たい！という需要をすくいとった好企画だと思います。
プログラムによると、今シーズンは3回。第一回は1月9日（日）です。

For the first time ever, NCM Fathom and the Los Angeles Philharmonic are partnering to bring three specially selected performances LIVE from the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles to movie theatres nationwide.
LA Phil LIVE is an immersive sight and sound experience, featuring full concert performances with the LA Phil led by its dynamic music director Gustavo Dudamel, broadcast live from Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles. In-theatre audiences will experience up-close and dramatic views of Dudamel and the orchestra in action, captured with multiple HD cameras and in thrilling 5.1 surround sound. Each broadcast will transport audiences behind the music for an exclusive “backstage pass” look at the LA Phil –including interviews with Dudamel, world-renowned guest soloists, and the Orchestra's musicians.
LA Phil LIVE provides a unique opportunity for viewers to learn more about the music and the music-making process, as well as gain exhilarating insights into Dudamel's musical background, his phenomenal relationship with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and his enduring dedication to youth music education.
The LA Phil LIVE series consists of three in-theatre events in 2011. Each event takes place Live on Sunday afternoons at 5PM ET / 4PM CT / 3PM MT / 2PM PT.
